- Credenc founded by Avinash Kumar and Mayank Batheja in 2017 offers loans in schooling, higher education, online upskilling
- The $25 million investment is a combination of debt and equity - The amount of stake acquired was not revealed
- Credenc will soon start India's first student focussed Neo Bank - Credenc's founders will continue to run operation
- Capital India said "we don't want to disrupt the working of the organisation and believe the founders know the business best"
- India annually spends College fees $50 billion out of which only 5% is funded by organised lender
