 - Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR to make Krishi Vigyan Kendras KVK more effective with the following measures

- Technical Staff of KVK are regularly trained on latest Agri Technologies

- Management Development Programme for newly recruited heads of KVK

- KVK portal created to integrate all branches for online monitoring, disseminate useful messages

- During last five years KVKs strengthened with infrastructure facilities, soil testing kits etc

- Establishment of District Agro-Met units in KVKs in convergence with India Meteorological Department
