Rajasthan Doctors Call Off Protest - Agreement Reached With Government on Right To Health Act

 - Rajasthan Doctors have called off their protest after agreement reached with State Government over Right to Health Act

- 8-pont agreement was reached between State Government and Indian Medical Association IMA Rajasthan, Private Hospital and Nursing Home Society PHNHS, United Private Clinics and Hospitals of Rajasthan UPCHAR

- IMA Rajasthan President claimed now with agreement 98% of Hospitals are our of RTH Act Right to Health Act and wondered why they should continue with protest

- Chief Minister Ahok Gehlot tweeted happiness over the agreement and Rajasthan becoming 1st State to implement Right to Health

- The Health Ministry has excluded less than 50 bed Private Multi Specialty Hospitals from RTH Act. Also Private Hospitals established without Government Fund or Help such as land, building at subsidised rate are out of RTH Act

- Another agreement is that Police Case filed during protests will be withdrawn. There will be single window system for licences and other approval for Private Hospitals
