- Tamil Nadu Finance Minister & Human Resources Management Minister Thangam Thenarasu has said TNPSC Group II, IIA Main Exam Results will be announced in 1st Week of December 2023
- 80% assessment work has been completed. Remaining work will be completed by December 2023 and 6,000 candidates will be given Government Job Appointment Letters by the Chief Minister
- 51,000 candidates have appeared for the Main exams. Main Exam viz., General Tamil, General Studies were held on February25, 2023
- Union Government takes around 5 months to declare results for the Written Exams. But TNPSC has taken more than 9 months to declare results
- TN Finance Minister said since the number candidates appearing in TNPSC is three times larger than the candidates appearing for Central Government Civil Services Commission Exams, the State Government efficiency in declaring results cannot be said as comparatively less
- Interview is conducted for only Group II posts vacancies. Written Exam for Group IIA posts vacancies
- The evaluation was started bit late since there was only one Computer Assessment Center and the other examination evaluation was also going on.
- To avoid delays in future Chief Minister MK Stalin has opened on war footing 2nd Computer Assessment Center at cost of Rs 1 crore
