Tamil Nadu Electricity Bill Rates Hiked by 4.83% w.e.f July 1, 2024

Tamilnadu Electricity Regulatory Commission TNERC has hiked the Electricity Bill Rate by 4.83% with effect from July 1, 2024

Domestic House Consumption & Handloom:

- Upto 400 units - New Rate Rs. 4.80 per unit (20 paise Hike) - Bimonthly

(Old Rate was Rs 4.60 per unit)

- 401 to 500 Units - New Rate Rs. 6.45 per unit (30 paise hike) - Bi-Monthly

(Old Rate was Rs 6.15 per unit)

- 501 to 600 Units - New Rate Rs. 8.55 per unit (40 paise hike) - Bi-Monthly

(Old Rate was Rs 8.15 per unit)

- 601 to 800 Units - New Rate Rs. 9.65 per unit (45 paise hike) - Bi-Monthly

(Old Rate was Rs. 9.20 per unit)

- 801 to 1000 Units - New Rate Rs. 10.70 per unit (50 paise hike) - Bi-Monthly

(Old Rate was Rs. 10.20 per unit)

- Above 1000 Units - New Rate Rs. 11.80 per unit (55 paise hike) - Bi-Monthly

(Old Rate was Rs. 11.25 per unit)
