Credit Card Issuance By Yes Bank, RBL Bank, Bajaj Finance To Be Hit

 - The restrictions on Mastercard by Reserve Bank Of India will hit credit card issuance by Yes Bank, RBL Bank say media reports

- RBL Bank had said to the stock exchanges nearly 1 lakh credit card issuance might get affectected due to RBI ban

- RBL has 5% market share in credit card and has issued over 30 lakh credit cards. A large chunk of its card are issued by Bajaj Finserv through partnership agreement

- RBL is in talks with Visa but shifting to new network might take 8-10 weeks - Yes Bank is working for seamless transition to other networks

-  Yes Bank said its debit card has Visa Rupay and their service wont be hit. Brokerages say market share of unaffected card issuers is likely to gain
