Punjab Congress Stalemate Ends - Siddhu To Head PCC - Captain Amarinder Singh To Remain As CM

 - In an apparent end to stalemate in Punjab Congress, a deal has been reached between warring factions in the State

- Najot Singh Siddhu will head the Punjab Congress Committee, while Capatain Amarinder Singh will remain as Chief Minister

- PCC will also have two working Presidents one from Hindu, other from Dalit community - Media reports say formal announcement is expected soon

- There was series of meeting between State leaders with Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Harish Rawat Punjab State In Charge etc

- Even Prashant Kishore advisor of Captain Amarinder Singh had met Gandhis - There was speculation that AAP is very keen to have Navjot Singh Siddhu in their party so that AAP can extend its reach beyond Delhi

- But now with Siddhu being appointed as PCC Head, the stalemate seems to have come to an end
