 - Reserve Bank of India RBI has announced Monetary Policy Committee MPC Meeting Schedule for Financial Year 2023-24

- April 3, 5, 6 - 2023

- June 6 to 8, 2023

- August 8 to 10, 2023

- October 4 to 6, 2023

- December 6 to 8, 2023

- February 6 to 8, 2024

- RBI meets bimonthly to decide on measures to keep macroeconomic indicators in check. The meetings are held for 3 days each time. 

- The composition of current MPC is as follows. There are 6 members. 1) Governor RBI, Shaktikanta Das Chairperson 2) Deputy Governor of the Bank in charge, Michael Debrata Patra, 3) Executive Director of the Bank in charge, Rajiv Ranjan 4) PM's Economic Advisory Council, Ashima Goyal 5) Shasshanka Bide, senor advisor in National Council for Applied Economic Research, 6) Jayanth Varma IIM Ahmedabad
